Vintage Coralene Coraline Cottage Rose Cobalt Blue Porcelain Pottery Vase

Offered for your consideration is this absolutely lovely vase which is cobalt blue porcelain pottery
with coralene cottage rose decoration in various shades
of pink and green with twigs and edges done with gold gild.
This vase stands 8 3/8 inches tall & 3 3/8 inches wide and base is also 3 3/8 inches in diameter.
Excellent condition...color is beautiful and all is in excellent condition.
It is a very dark blue...it is not black
Coralene glass was a Victorian form of decoration on glass. A picture or design was painted onto the glass with "syrupy" enamel paint, and tiny glass balls were applied to this surface, then re-heated so they partially melted into the surface. The result looked a little like the rough surface of coral.
No makers logo but others listed which are similar are attributed to Nippon.
I did get this from my mother's boyfriend, it was his mothers and she passed
in 2003 at age 92...everything she had was "nice"  That being said I know it came from
a smoke free home.
