Absolutely stunning Nippon Berry Strainer with Rose panels and ornate, heavy gold! Just beautiful!
This is in really good shape. Please see the pictures. Under a magnifying glass where my finger is in the picture, I see one faint hairline that doesn’t go all the way through. Some gold loss on some of the beads around the top rim area.
Upon Close inspection, There are a dull rough looking gold on the rim in several spots but not on the gold elsewhere! It is smooth.but I was skeptical and decided to swab it with an alcohol ink which breaks down solvent paints such as metallic gold and it didn’t budge!  Seemed fired on...
