Incredible Antique Moriage Tea Pot with Phoenix - Mid 19th Century

Description

This is an amazing early Nippon tea pot.  The moriage decoration is breathtaking.  The body is in excellent condition, the lid has been broken and repaired, and the handle has a very old repair.  We think this is a true treasure from the early to mid 19th century.  The quality of work is spectacular from thin delicate potting, to gorgeous turquoise colors, to splendid design.  It measures 8 3/4" tall.
